Photo & Media Permissions
Open Door Band occasionally takes photos and short videos during rehearsals and performances for use on our website, social media, and printed materials.
If you prefer not to appear in any photos or videos, simply let the director know — we’ll make sure your preference is respected.
By participating in Open Door Band activities, you acknowledge that photos and videos taken at rehearsals and performances may be used to promote Resident Lifestyle programs in The Villages.
No photos will ever be sold or used for commercial purposes.
Privacy & Member Information
We collect only the information needed to run the band smoothly — typically your name, email address, and instrument.
Your information will never be sold, shared, or used for any other purpose.
Member rosters and contact lists may be provided to The Villages Recreation Department upon request, as part of Resident Lifestyle program requirements.
Google Forms and Google Drive are used to manage interest sign-ups and music distribution; both are secure, widely used tools.
If you unsubscribe or are no longer an active member, your contact information will be removed from the list.

All music distributed through Open Door Band is purchased or licensed for educational use and is intended solely for members’ personal practice and performance.
Please do not copy, distribute, or share these materials outside the band.
Commercial sales, paid instruction, or other for-profit activity are prohibited under Resident Lifestyle Volunteer Guidelines.
Code of Courtesy
Open Door Band is a welcoming, supportive environment for adult learners.
We ask members to:
Arrive on time and be respectful of rehearsal spaces.
Refrain from using profanity or inappropriate language.
Treat every participant, guest, and staff member with respect.
Notify the director if you’ll miss a rehearsal so we can plan accordingly.
The Villages Recreation Department Code of Conduct applies to all participants.
Anyone not acting appropriately may be asked to leave the activity or facility.
Eligibility
Events are only open to Residents of The Villages. Eligible Guests must present a valid Guest ID to attend.
